# Construction software in Spanish: which tools work for Spanish-speaking drywall offices and crews

Many drywall and tape-and-float crews work in Spanish, and many offices work in both languages. Most contractor software is built in English first. We went through the public pages of 11 tools to see what each one says about Spanish: screens and apps, help articles, and messages. Here is what we found, with sources, and what we think a drywall office should look for. “Not found” means we did not find it in the sources we reviewed, not that it does not exist.

## Tool by tool

### Procore

In our view the strongest screen-language support in this list, aimed at larger GCs. Your crew can see menus in Spanish, but the notes and messages people type stay in whatever language they were written in. [1] [See our Procore alternative comparison](https://tapeandfloat.com/alternatives/procore.html)

### Buildertrend

The Spanish help article shows Buildertrend has thought about Spanish-speaking subs being paid through it. We did not find a Spanish app in the pages we reviewed. [2] [See our Buildertrend alternative comparison](https://tapeandfloat.com/alternatives/buildertrend.html)

### JobTread

JobTread held a webinar on using JobTread with Spanish-speaking crews on October 27, 2026. We did not find a Spanish version of the app in the pages we reviewed. [3] [See our JobTread alternative comparison](https://tapeandfloat.com/alternatives/jobtread.html)

### Knowify

The record we found is a 2017 post about the mobile app. Ask Knowify whether that still holds today. [4] [See our Knowify alternative comparison](https://tapeandfloat.com/alternatives/knowify.html)

### Contractor Foreman

The language setting works per company and per employee, which is useful if only your crew leads want another language. Ask which languages are offered. [5] [See our Contractor Foreman alternative comparison](https://tapeandfloat.com/alternatives/contractor-foreman.html)

### Buildxact

Built for builders, remodelers and trades who estimate. Spanish support was not found in the sources we reviewed. [6] [See our Buildxact alternative comparison](https://tapeandfloat.com/alternatives/buildxact.html)

### Werx

Built for contractors who bill by AIA progress billing or time and materials. Spanish support was not found in the sources we reviewed. [7] [See our Werx alternative comparison](https://tapeandfloat.com/alternatives/werx.html)

### Crew Rivet

Bilingual EN/ES is listed among its features. It is built for service trades such as painters and pressure washers. [8] [See our Crew Rivet alternative comparison](https://tapeandfloat.com/alternatives/crew-rivet.html)

### Jobber

In our view, built for home-service field crews such as lawn care, cleaning and HVAC. Spanish works on the web for everyone, but admins and account owners see the mobile app in English. [9] [See our Jobber alternative comparison](https://tapeandfloat.com/alternatives/jobber.html)

### Housecall Pro

In our view, built for home-service businesses such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical and cleaning that quote homeowners and send techs. Its app is in English and Spanish at every role level, and its pricing FAQ mentions Spanish-speaking support. [10] [See our Housecall Pro alternative comparison](https://tapeandfloat.com/alternatives/housecall-pro.html)

### Benetics AI

Not an office tool, but worth knowing about if your field reports come in Spanish and your office reads English. [11]

## What to look for if your crew or office works in Spanish

- Screens are not messages. A Spanish menu helps the person using the app. It does not change the texts and emails that go out to your crews, GCs and customers. Ask both questions separately.
- Typed text usually is not translated. Procore’s help center says so plainly for its app. A note typed in English stays in English for a Spanish-speaking crew lead, and the other way around.
- Usted, not tú. If a tool writes Spanish for you, check that it uses a respectful tone (usted) with customers and GCs. Read a few real drafts before you trust it.
- Crew texts in each crew’s language. If one crew reads Spanish and another reads English, a schedule confirmation should go to each in its own language, with the same date, address and time.
- Who approves what gets sent. Know whether anything goes out automatically. For crew confirmations and change orders, our view is that a person in your office should approve every message.
- Help in Spanish. If the person using the tool reads Spanish best, check for Spanish help articles or training before you buy.
- Ask the vendor. Features change. Write down the language questions above and ask each vendor directly.

## Where TapeAndFloat.com fits

TapeAndFloat.com is not a full construction management platform. It is an office assistant for drywall and tape-and-float offices that works from the texts and emails your office already gets. From our comparison pages:

### Where TapeAndFloat.com may be the better fit

- Your jobs, changes and schedules come in as texts and emails from GCs, and you would rather forward them than retype them.
- You want to work in a Google Sheet instead of learning a new app.
- You want a second set of eyes on the mistakes that cost money: a crew booked twice, an approved change order with no invoice, an invoice that is past due.
- Your crews work in English, Spanish or both, and you want nothing sent unless a person in your office approves it and sends it.

### How the TapeAndFloat.com pilot works

1. We set up your Sheet and your setup address.
2. Your office forwards job texts (share-to-email or copy-paste) and emails, in English or Spanish.
3. Intake fills in the date, address and contact. Gaps are marked “Needs review.”
4. During the free 60-day pilot, a person checks every entry.
5. The Sheet flags a crew booked twice (CHECK). A request for extra work is marked as a change order, and a change order not approved in writing shows yellow. An approved change order with no invoice shows red, and past-due invoices show red.
6. Crew confirmation drafts are written in each crew’s language. You approve each draft and send it from your own phone. Nothing sends automatically.
7. If you stay on, we agree on the price with you up front. If you stop, the Sheet stays yours.
