Privacy policy

Short version: we collect only what we need to run the website and the pilot, we don't sell it, and this site has no ad trackers or analytics cookies.

The website

• No advertising trackers, analytics scripts, or third-party cookies.
• Our host (Netlify) keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and pages requested, for security and reliability.
• The bid calculator runs in your browser. We don't save what you type into it.

Forms

When you fill out the pilot, contact, or waitlist forms, we receive what you type, such as your name, company, phone, email and message. Netlify processes and stores these submissions for us. We use them to reply to you and to run the pilot. That's it.

The pilot

If you join the pilot, you'll forward us job messages, such as texts, emails and voicemails, which may include names, addresses, phone numbers and prices. We use them only to provide the service to your company:

• A small number of people on our team may read them to check the software's work during the pilot.
• We use trusted service providers to store data and to transcribe and process messages, including AI providers. They may use your data only to provide their service to us.
• We don't sell your data, and we never share your pricing or customer list with other contractors or GCs.
• We may use anonymized, aggregated data that can't identify you or your company to improve the product.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct, export, or delete your information at any time. If you leave the pilot, we'll delete your company's data within 30 days unless you ask us to keep it, or the law requires us to.

Text messages

We only text you if you gave us your number and checked the box asking us to. Texts are about your request, interviews, and the pilot; message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out or HELP for help, or email james@tapeandfloat.com. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party.

Security

We use encrypted connections and access controls. No system is perfect. If something goes wrong that affects your data, we'll tell you promptly.

Children

This service is for businesses and isn't directed at children under 13.

Changes and contact
