Looking for a Jobber alternative? A plain comparison for drywall and tape-and-float offices

Jobber is field service software for home and commercial service businesses, with quoting, scheduling, invoicing, online payments, a client hub, a mobile app and AI tools, sold in four published plans. In our view it is built for home-service field crews such as lawn care, cleaning and HVAC, where you quote a homeowner, book a visit and get paid. A drywall sub working for general contractors often needs other things: change orders, retainage, pay applications, lien timing and an office helper that works in Spanish first. TapeAndFloat.com does something narrower: it works from the texts and emails your office already gets, fills in a Google Sheet for you, and flags mistakes such as a crew booked twice, an approved change order with no invoice or a past-due invoice. Both are reasonable choices. Which one fits depends on what your office needs, so here is a side-by-side look, with sources.
